1953	Founded Jin Ming Kiln Factory, Emery Product Dept and started production of Vitrified Bonded Wheel and Grinding Stone and became the first grinding wheel plant in Taiwan.
1957	Increased capital and reorganized into China Grinding Wheel Company. Introduced the "Resinoid Bonded" wheel production.
1964	Increased capital for the 2nd time and reorganized into China Grinding Wheel Enterprise Corp. and introduced the "Shellac Bonded" wheel production.
1965	CNS 991 Vitrified Bonded Wheel authorized to use the R.O.C. national ㊣ trade mark.
1967	Formed technical cooperation relationship with Mitsui Kinzoku, Japan.
1969	Introduced "Rubber Bonded" and " PVA Bonded" wheels production.
1978	Authorized to use the R.O.C. national ㊣ trade mark for CNS 3967 Resinoid Bonded Wheels by the Ministry Of Economic Affairs, R.O.C.
1980	Established Shulin Factory for mass production of resinoid bonded wheel by automatic equipment.
1985	Established B.D. Manufacturing Department to produce various kinds of diamond and CBN grinding wheel.
1988	Established the KINIK Corporate Identification System (CIS).
1991	Established the Grinding Test Center to serve customers more effectively.
1993	Honored with R.O.C. NATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD, and authorized the use of "Symbol of Excellence" and "IT'S VERY WELL MADE IN TAIWAN". Certified to the ISO 9002 by R.O.C. Commodity Inspection Bureau.
1994	Certified to the ISO 9002 by BSI, U.K. Established Hualien Factory to enhance the service to the customers of diamond circular saw blades for stones. Authorized to use the R.O.C. national ㊣ trade mark for CNS 3789,CNS 3790,CNS 4206 Resinoid Bonded wheels and Abrasive Discs by the Ministry Of Economic Affairs, R.O.C.
1995	Invested in the P.C.D. (Poly Crystalline Diamond) tools; introduced ultra high precision grinding mirror processing technology - ELID grinding.
1996	Invested and established Jin Li Tai Plant in Thailand, and mass production commenced in April. Certified to the ISO-9002 by DQS, Germany in May. Developed the DiaGrid® Brazing diamond tools.
1997	Introduced the P.V.D.D non-crystallized diamond coating for production of diamond coated tools and molds. Granted world patent for DiaGrid® process. Invested Hongia Industry Co., Ltd. and KINIK Precision Grinding Company (KGP).
1998	Introduced the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) diamond coating production.
1999	Introduced the ZrN deco and tools coating production.
2000	Formed strategic alliance with Rodel of USA (the largest CMP pad supplier in the world) to promote KINIK’s DiaGrid® pad conditioner for CMP manufacture of semiconductors.
2001	DiaGrid® CMP Conditioner won the R.O.C. MOEA "CERTIFICATE OF GOOD DESIGN PRODUCT" in March.
2002	Feb., Diamond Disk won the R.O.C. MOEA "CERTIFICATE OF GOOD DESIGN PRODUCT". Apr., Won TSMC "Ship-To-Stock Certificate": Excellent material vendor certification. Sep., Won "The Most Outstanding Award" of the 10th R.O.C. MOEA ITA (Industrial Technology Advancement) Award. Dec., Acquired House Technology Corp. and became Hsinchu Factory.
2003	Cooperated with US Semicon Tool Inc. to develop the diamond Dicing Blade for Semi-conductor industry use. Transited the ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000 in October.
2004	Apr.1, Celebrated the 50th foundation anniversary and the 40th reorganization anniversary. Apr. 15, Listed on emerging stock market with code NO.1560. Jul. 30, Applied for the listing on the public stock market. Sep., Won the worldwide largest semi-conductor CMP pad supplier Rohm and Haas "Outstanding Strategic Alliance Partner Award". Oct., Honored with the 5th R.O.C. National Enterprise Golden Award-"Outstanding Enterprise" & "Best Product Award-Diamond Disk (CMP Pad Dresser)". Nov., In matching with the R.O.C. Government Two-Trillion, Two-Star Project Industrial Policy, presented Aspheric Molding Glass Lens. Launched Diamond Scriber for LED, Ld, Sapphire; Scribing Wheel & Hub Pin; Diamond Polishing Tape; Bonding Tools.
2005	Jan. 31, announced IPO in Taiwan Stock Exchange Co., Stock no. 1560. Jun 30, Chairman Y.C. Pai retired after 53 years working, Frank S. Lin been the new Chairman & CEO. Sep., Merged KINIK Precision Grinding Corp., and restructured as the Semiconductor Materials Business Unit, together with Abrasive B.U., Diamond B.U., and Opto-Electronics B.U. Sep., Won the worldwide largest semi-conductor CMP pad supplier Rohm and Haas "Oustanding Strategic Alliance Partner Award". Dec., Hsinchu Hukou Factory certified to the ISO 14001:2004 by SGS.
2006	Jan., Hsinchu Huokou Factory certified to the ISO 9001:2000 by SGS. Sept., Honored with the 2006 Taiwan Superior Brand Award from the MOEA, R.O.C. Nov., Yingge Factory and Hsinchu Zhubei Factory certified to the ISO 14001:2004 by SGS. Nov., Honored with "2006 Taiwan Superior Product Award" from R.O.C. Nanotechnology & Micro System Association.
2007	Feb., Zhubei Factory certified to the IECQ QC08000 by SGS. Sep., Won the worldwide largest semi-conductor CMP pad supplier Rohm and Haas "Oustanding Strategic Alliance Partner Award". Sep., Honored with "NMA Award for Distinguished Industrial Contribution" from R.O.C. Nanotechnology & Micro System Association. Nov., Yingge Factory and Hsinchu Hukou Factory certified to the OHSAS 18001:2007 by SGS. Dec.,Won the Distinguished Contribution Award of 12" WLCSP Project, 2007 from Xintec Inc.
2008	Jan., Zhubei Factory certified to the OHSAS18001 by SGS. Jun.,Won the "CG6003 Certificate of Corporate System for Public Company 06/01/2008～06/30/2009" from Taiwan Corporate Governance Association.
2009	Jan., Established the Stone Business Unit to produce various kinds of laminated natural stones.
2010	Feb. Mr. Thomas Hsieh has been appointed as CEO. Mar., Renamed Stone Business Unit to Precision Materials B.U. to meet business development needs. Jun. 15, KINIK’s Board re-elects Mr. Y. L. Pai as Chairman.
2011	Jan., Yingge Factory, Hsinchu Factory and Zhubei Factory certified to the TOSHMS:2007 by SGS. Mar., Pinaonix of Precision B.U. certified to the MIT Smile Label product. Jul., Honored with the “Top 100 Taiwan Brands” Award from the MOEA, R.O.C.. Nov., Precision Materials B.U. was merged into Abrasives B.U. to meet the business development needs.
